Halo: Combat Evolved for PC is one of the hottest online games there is. Halo can be for one player without internet and then two to sixteen players online. In Halo you will battle aliens to... oh wait a minute if i tell you all of it now i would be spoiling it for you. Sorry just get the game and come join the fun!

The Tournament guidelines!

Every contest will have anywhere from 5-16 players.

Each tournament will have 5-16 rounds depending on how many players there are.

After each round the player in last place will be banned from the game.

Therefore after all rounds have been played the last man standing will win the game

Winner will receive an open ad space on my site along with there name in the winners box.

Tournaments will run under the name "Tournament!!!" with a new password every time.

Setting up your own server!
How to ban-
- - - We all know how annoying it is to have someone in your game that has a big mouth or likes to betray their own team, well i am here to tell you that you can now get rid of these pests by banning them from your game. Banning is kicking someone out from your game of halo and not allowing them to rejoin. If you would like to have this power you must be the host of the game that you are playing. If you do ban someone however you can always un-ban them which will be explained later. Here are the following steps to ban a player from your game:
Before you start make sure to do the following steps:
- Right click on your Halo: Combat Evolved shortcut on your desktop.
- Go to properties.
- Click on shortcut tab.
- In the target box at the top "which may be highlighted" add -console at the very end as shown in picture.
- Click apply.
- Click ok.
- Go into Halo: Combat Evolved.
- Start a game of your own.
During game play do the following
- Push ~ found below the esc key.
- Type sv_players.
- Push enter.
- Get the # of the player u want to ban.
- Type sv_ban #.
- Push enter.
- Hit ~ to return to the game.
Un-Banning
If you think that a banned player has had enough punishment and you would like to allow that player to be able to join your server again then you have the option to un-ban that player. The only way you have the power to un-ban a player is to be the host otherwise it won't work. To un-ban a player follow these simple steps:
- Hit ~.
- Type sv_banlist.
- Hit enter.
- Get the number of the player you wish to un-ban.
- sv_unban #.
- Enter (Now that player should be able to join your server again.)
- Hit ~ once more to return to the game.
Kicking Players
If you wan't to kick someone out of your game but would like for them to be able to join again then you can use this method. Kicking someone out doesn't prevent them from rejoining. You might want to kick someone one if they are using bad language or just being annoying. To kick someone out of your current game you must first be sure that you are the host. To kick follow these steps:
- Push ~ found below the esc key.
- Type sv_players.
- Push enter.
- Get the # of the player u want to kick.
- Type sv_kick #.
- Press enter (It should say something like "Bubba Quit" on the writing area where it says like "Welcome Bubba".)
- Push ~ to return to the game.
Taking Pictures During Game Play!
Taking a picture of what you see on your screen can be very helpful in providing other players with an image of the game you have played or just want to just show off. If you would like to share your photo's visit the forums section and post them there. here is how to take a picture in halo combat evolved for pc. note that you can only process one photo at a time using this method.
- Find your prt Scr key on my keyboard it's next to the scroll lock key.
- Start playing your game.
- When your ready to take your picture press that key we discussed in step one.
- Press alt tab to switch.
- Go into paint or some program similar to paint.
- When in paint right click and paste.
- Save your photo in paint as a gif file or any photo file type.
- Your done, that's it.
Another way to take pictures easier is to use x-fire. To do this follow these simple steps.
- Download x-fire and set up to run with halo and other games you may have.
- go to any game using x-fire
- in game play press scroll lock and s at the same time to take the picture
- go to your x-fire when done playing your game to get all the pictures you took see xfire.com for more information or visit the forums.
Staying alive!
If your just starting to play halo and would like some tips well here they are.
- Pase side to side while walking that way your harder to snipe. Doing so will cause other players to have to work harder to kill you unless they have a rocket launcher lol.
- In bloodgulch be sure to grab all the goods in the center (Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod Cannon.)
- If running from a sniper be sure to jump for it's easier to snipe someone when they are not jumping.
- When playing team oddball have someone pick up the ball then get into side seat of warthog. Then have one of your teammates drive the hog all over the place. Keep the hog a going and you will get a lot of time for your team. Works every time :-)
Great Tip's For Killing In Halo: Combat Evolved!
Here are some tips on where to hide in the Game. These are sorted by map name.
Bloodgulch
- Get inside the big pointy rock!-----In order to use this hiding spot you must be playing on a non-modded Bloodgulch map.The trick is to get into the pointy rock found in the center of the field. To get into this rock you must have a warthog. The first step is to get the warthog and back it up to this big pointy rock. The next step is to get out of the driver seat. after this you need to go to the gunner seat and hop in then immediately get out. Repeat this until you are in the rock. If this doesn't work then you may need to move the hog closer to the rock.
- Put a hog on top of the bace------Impossible right, wrong! Now you can get a warthog on top of the base to kill your enemies or just to block a ramp to the top! How do we do this you may ask? Well since you visited my site I will tell you. The first step is to get a regular grenade and a rocket launcher. After you get those items go grab a hog. Drive the hog to a base. Place the hog with the front end touching the base. Make sure that it is placed between the pillars. Next get out of the hog and stand behind it. Now throw a grenade under the warthog. Then immediately after you throw the gernade, shoot the back of the hog with the rocket launcher, make sure you do this very fast otherwise it will not work. That's it your done, great job.
- Put a ghost on top of base. ---- Their are two ways to place the ghost on top of the base. The first way to do it is to use the hill next to blue base and drive the ghost up the hill and jump over to the top of the base. The other way of doing it is to place a warthog next to the base then use the hog as a ramp to drive the ghost up to the top of the base!
- Get on top of the mountain. ---- There is a ledge on top of the rocks by blue base that you can reach with practice. How we do this is very simple with a couple of steps. The first step is to get a Banshee. After you get into a Banshee take it to the top as far as you can go and back it up as close as you can to the ledge, after you back it up level it out straight to where the back end of it is on the ledge or very close to it. Next jump out and back up, your now on the ledge!
- Hide in the little cove---- Many of you may already know this, but their is a little hiding spot behind the base along the wall were it will be very hard to find you. This little spot has a good view of the base so you can guard your flag or kill others. To find this just go along the wall in the back behind the base and too the side with the cave. keep along this wall and you will find the hiding spot. If your a noob this can be a great help.
Death Island
- See the edge of the world. ---- There are two ways to see the edge of the world in this map. The first way that's takes some practice, but does work is to get a ghost. After you grab the ghost go drive in the water until you can't go anymore. You will hit an invisible wall. After you hit the wall turn around and go towards the island for about 4 sec then turn back around and head back towards the wall. Once you get about 4 sec away from the island turn the ghost sideways and jump out. with practice you should be able to go through the invisible wall and out into the water. Once over the wall continue walking towards the ring in the sky. Once you get to the end you should see the edge of the world! Note be sure not to crouch in the water out there for you can not stand back up afterwords. The other way to get through the wall is to have a teammate hit you through with a vehicle of some kind such as a hog, ghost, etc. To do this you just need to stand next to the invisible wall and then have your teammate hit you with the hog or whatever vehicle it is you're using. Also it take about 15 min to reach the end for it's about 4km away from the island.
Battle creek
- Get on top of base --- to get on top of your base you will first need to go to the right side of it. After you are on the right side of your base look for a rock if your by blue base and a pillar if your by blue base These items will have a small dip at the corner that you can jump on. After you jump on this jump up to the top of your base and your now on top of your base with great views and more ways to kill. One thing you might do is through a grenade down the hole to get some fast kills.
- Capture the flag shooting spot--- When playing capture the flag go down into the tunnels of your base and take a left. You will then come up by your base with a small wall and a great view of the other base From here you can unload on the entry of the opposite fort for instant kills and fun.
- Places to hide --- Go into the water and to the left or right to the waters end. Their you will need to crouch down (ctrl), pick up the invisibility and just wait for your next victim. It's very hard to see someone their and when there is 16 players no one has time to look their.
- Sniper spot --- One last thing here Go up the latter on either site for a great sniper spot. From up here make sure you watch the latter for you never know who will pop up. Also be sure to hide yourself so your not seen and just pop out every so often to snipe one or two then go back to hiding.

What is the clan?
The clan is timsthrillzone.com official hang out group. If you like to have fun every night and enjoy making friends then you may want to sign up. Basically what this is is a hang out spot for everyone to get together and go on halo killing sprees. We also communicate through X-fire and Yahoo chat which enables us to talk to one another while we play. Being able to talk rather then text during game play means more kills for everyone! If you don't have a mic or don't want to talk don't worry you can still join.

How to take video's
New to this site is the gude of taking video's of halo on your pc with no fancy equitment. To take video's in halo you need to do only one thing Get x-fire! Once you have x-fire you will be able to take video's, pictures, chat and more. In gameplay press the hot key (defult is Scroll Lock + V) to start recording. To stop recording simply press the hot key again and video will stop recording. Repet this process to capture multible video's or to make a very cool rap video. When your done playing the game exit out and go into your x-fire you will see your video's their all ready to go! best part is it's 100% free and doesn't require any ca$h.

How to install
To install these custom maps for Halo: Combat Evolved for PC follow these steps.
- Download the file to your desktop.
- Find your "Maps" folder inside the halo folder. (Ussally it's located at this file location C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo).
- Back up this folder. (make a copy of this entire folder and put it in your documents or somewhere you can remember where you put it.)
- Rename the file you downloaded to the proper map name. (example rename "snipingtanks.map" to "bloodgulch.map")
- Move that file to the orignal map folder (See step 2) and replace the old map file with the new.
- Close all windows and open Halo: Combat Evolved.
- Go Play!
Sniping Tanks v1.1
This mod is of Bloodgulch and is perfect for the new people. This map features snipers using tank shells as ammo. Also in this mod there are teleporters on top of the bases that go to the top of the rocks near your enemies base for a great view. Being on top of the wall, you can easily kill off the other players and spawn kill! This map teaches the noob how to snipe and punishes those who spawn kill. Also this is a good way to learn how to snipe with the pistol. Have fun!!!
Bridges v1.1
This map is Bloodgulch with a twist. There are walkways above you and are very useful for killing with your sniper rifle which shoots tank shells! This map is great for slayer and the scenery is good too. If your a spawn killer, you will be punished for as soon as you die the other players will have a chance to get their sweet revenge. So everyone play nice and check out this cool map. Enjoy!
